Warhammer Colour Base Paint: Dryad Bark (12ml)
A very dark, desaturated brown — close to black, but warm where black is flat. Dryad Bark is the basecoat for anything wooden, leathern, or worn: tree bark and Sylvaneth limbs, spear hafts and axe handles, boots and belts and satchels, dark furs, and earth on bases. It is also one of the most useful near-black undercoats in the range, giving depth to a dark scheme without killing it the way pure black does.
