Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy governs the shipment and delivery of products purchased through the A&M Hobby Shop LLC website (the "Company"). By placing an order with the Company, you agree to the terms outlined herein.

Order Processing and Fulfillment:

A&M Hobby Shop LLC endeavors to process and fulfill all orders within three (3) business days of order placement, excluding weekends and holidays. This processing period includes order verification, quality checks, and packaging. Please note that this timeframe is an estimate and may be subject to delays during peak seasons or due to unforeseen circumstances.

Shipping Options and Delivery Estimates:

A&M Hobby Shop LLC offers the following shipping methods, with estimated delivery times commencing after the order has been shipped from our facilities within the contiguous United States:

  • Economy Shipping: Delivery is estimated to occur within three (3) to ten (10) business days following shipment. This timeframe is an estimate and not a guarantee.
  • Expedited Shipping: If selected and paid for by the customer, delivery times will be as specified at the time of checkout, subject to the terms and conditions of the chosen carrier.
  • Free Shipping: Where offered, this service has the same estimated delivery timeframe as Economy Shipping, i.e., three (3) to ten (10) business days following shipment to addresses within the contiguous United States. Orders made within the same day may be combined into a single shipment. If free shipping is selected, but an alternate shipping method is selected by the customer, we will ship using the standard economy option. If you wish to use a faster shipping method for higher value orders please contact us before placing the order.

Shipping Costs:

Shipping costs are calculated based on the selected shipping method, the weight and dimensions of the items ordered, and the destination address. Applicable shipping charges will be displayed to the customer during the checkout process prior to order completion. If free shipping is applied and an alternate shipping method is selected, the standard free shipping method will be used instead of the customer selected shipping option.

Signature Requirement for High-Value Orders:

For orders with a total value of two hundred and fifty U.S. dollars ($250.00) or more, a signature will be required upon delivery. This measure is implemented to ensure the secure receipt of your order. If no one is available to sign for the delivery, the carrier may attempt redelivery or leave a notification with instructions for pickup at a designated facility.

Shipping Restrictions and Limitations:

A&M Hobby Shop LLC currently ships to addresses within the contiguous United States. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international locations at this time, unless explicitly stated otherwise on our website. Free shipping is not available to Hawaii or Alaska.

Certain restricted items such as paints and some glues can not be shipped via Air methods. If you select an air method for an order containing restricted items, your order will ship via ground methods, with the difference in cost being removed from your order total.

Delivery times provided are estimates and are not guaranteed. A&M Hobby Shop LLC is not liable for any delays in shipping caused by the carrier, natural disasters, weather conditions, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

Lost or Damaged Shipments:

If your order is lost or arrives damaged, please contact our customer service department within seven (7) days of the estimated delivery date or the date of receipt, respectively. You may be required to provide photographic evidence of any damage. A&M Hobby Shop LLC will investigate the issue and, at its discretion, may offer a replacement or refund in accordance with our Return Policy. A&M Hobby Shop LLC does not accept responsibility for damage or loss that occurs during shipping. 

Changes to Shipping Policy:

A&M Hobby Shop LLC reserves the right to modify or amend this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Company's website.
