While a Tomb World slumbers, Canoptek Wraiths are its eyes and ears. Flitting silently through dusty halls, they constantly patrol for intruders and inspect the complex systems for damage. Their most terrifying asset is their dimensional destabilisation matrix—a phase shifter that allows them to skip in and out of reality. Originally designed for reaching into solid machinery for repairs, it is horrendously effective in combat. A Wraith can simply phase its claws and tendrils inside an opponent, solidifying them to crush vital organs and bypass thick armour entirely, all while effortlessly drifting through solid terrain to reach its prey.
